I had a lot of fun writing THE UN-SURPRISE PARTY for the latest issue of American Girl Magazine. But then again, I always have fun writing for them. It's a wonderful magazine for girls!

Hey there, Linda! I think I have 6 stories with American Girl now. They first published an AGNES excerpt as a short story before that book was even sold. They gave me my first glimmer of publishing hope, and they are a joy to work with.
ReplyDeleteAs for AVIARY, it's coming out in September. I suggested that my agent wear a sandwich board with the cover to ALA, but she wasn't into it. I guess agents don't do that for some reason?
